SPR Takeover

Hunger Day fundraising  for the Finnish Red Cross

SPR Takeover was a charity campaign to support the Finnish Red Cross Hunger Day fundraising in the time when Finland experienced an immigration wave in autumn 2015.

The concept of the campaign was that we asked companies to donate their front page for the digital donation box. The strategy tied in a with a newfound urge for companies to take social stands and take tangible and symbolic actions that communicate an interest in society. The campaign was a success and will continue to be used for the annual Hunger Day fundraising.

The project was carried out as a joint effort by Finland’s leading communications agencies (Cocomms, Miltton, Ellun Kanat, Hill+Knowlton Strategies, Kreab, Pohjoisranta BM).
